When my son finished college I was left in limbo as to were he where/ what he would go next. I knew a day centre would most likely be the next step. It wasn’t easy finding one as I needed one that would be able to accommodate from 7.30/8.00am and a lot start at 9.00 am, to fit in around my work.
This is when I found Aztec, who amazingly were able to provide a 7.30 start pick up and drop home at 4pm.
When I first met Natalie knew instantly this was the right one for Joseph, he had a taster session and absolutely loved it.
Well nearly 3 years on and Joseph is living his best life. Not only do they do loads of things at the centre like cooking, crafting and general life skills they take them out and about to loads of different things in the community.
Joseph goes weekly to swimming, drama and best of all the music man project ( where he performed at the Royal Albert with them).
Natalie and all the other staff at Aztec are absolutely amazing and all do such an incredible job. These guys open doors for our vulnerable adults. Without Aztec Joseph would definitely not done or accessed half the things he does now.

My 19 year old son absolutely loves being part of The Aztec Family, there are a large variety of fun activities to take part in as well as some basic Math and cooking sessions and some volunteering work in the community. The staff are friendly and supportive and their time keeping collecting and dropping off is excellent, as working parents this is very much appreciated.
Natalie is professional, kind and approachable and always quick to respond any questions or worries you may have. As a family we would recommend Aztec day care services to everyone.
My daughter has attended Aztec since last September. She grown in confidence and enjoys the many activities. Always comes home smiling. Any problems are dealt with quickly. It is great how she is with her friends f5om school days, as well as making new friends.
We are so grateful to Richard and all his team at Aztec . The opportunities they provide for all clients at Aztec day service’s are outstanding. The wide range of activities,cooking crafts ,game’s and sensory room, also clients are able to access activities outside of the centre such as ten pin bowling, hourse riding, golf, swimming and shopping with the help of Aztec staff. The staff go above and beyond to meet the individual needs of clients and are also there for the parents and carers with a warm welcome. All staff are warm, caring, and very patient.

Aztec has been a true blessing for my son Chukwuma, who has autism and learning difficulties. The team is incredibly kind, understanding, and respectful of his complex needs. The carers are friendly and welcoming, and Chukwuma has settled so well—something we never thought possible after his struggles with self-harming at college. We’re so grateful for the love, care, and dignity they show him every day. Thank you, Aztec!
We honestly can’t recommend Aztec enough! Our son started in July 2024, he’s non verbal so it was a lot of trust to put in new people but they have been amazing, they were happy for us to pop in whenever we liked in the run up to him starting to help with transitioning and when he did start, they sent me photos during the day so I knew he was fine while he settled in. He gets so excited when he gets picked up in the morning and is happy when he comes home, what more can we ask for! The staff are all so lovely, they seem to really value their clients and are committed helping them live their best lives because they know they deserve it! He does such a variety of activities and goes out in the community pretty much every day, he has a better social life than I do!!
My daughter has been going to Aztec for over a year . She loves being able to still keep in touch with old friends and continue relationships. She enjoys going out with her group doing different visits and enjoying various planned activities. She comes home smiling after each day she is at Aztec.
Excellent service, our son really enjoys his days with Aztec because he gets to do so many different activities that he never gets bored. The staff are amazing, so caring and completely understand his needs.
